People who watch Jersey Shore are probably people who wanna be like the people on the show, which I don't know why they would. The girls on the show are skanks and the guys are all douche bags.

The story my group is doing is about a man who punched his girlfriend's 3 year old son in the mouth in a Tim Hortons. We will be filming around the school and in front of Tim Horton's. I will be playing the infant puncher. It will be a success because this is a great story.

I think that it is sad when all people want to do is play video games, but at the same time everyone has at least one obsession that takes over a good part of their life, whether it be videos, work, sports, etc. If someone chooses to waste their life playing video games, let them. One of my best friends plays video games non-stop, but he still has a job and a girlfriend so it can't be that bad.

I disagree with Dr. Phil. No matter what it is, people will find something that they think is bad for their kids. 30 or 40 years ago, people thought that The Bug's Bunny show was a bad influence on kids. If you were to say that now, you would just get laughed at. I think Dr. Phil is a fake

#19 ellen and all that
so the great controversy....creeds..values..gays on tv...etc.your opinion

It's too bad, but nowadays I guess people in the public eye have to have their T.V. persona and then also their personal persona that is kept from people.

#18 mooks and midriffs
comment on that....do you see where they are coming from?...has the mook and midriff strategy been successful for "the man"....how has it changed teenage life

I don't know why they are trying to make acting drunk and stupid cool. It has probably influenced alot of the bullying that goes on because the stereotype guy is supposed to be dick to anyone but his friends, especially "nerds"

#17 "nipplegate"....the day the media world changed
your take?

I still don't know what nipplegate is.

#16 lady gaga's "telephone" ?......genius....weird...stupid...all of the above?
well ..comment on this 9 minutes and all of her gagaliciousness

I want to see the dirty version
#15 ..from the video...controversial moments in music history
most memorable ..why?

The Kurt Cobain story, because he was one of the most influential people in music's history and because of all the contravercy that surrouded the event.

#14 your tv commercial
explain your contribution to the finished product (what was your role?) and whether or not you are happy with the "commercial"

I was in a few scenes but I mainly filmed

blog 13

#13 the great canadian coffee war
read the article on the battle brewing (get it?) and explain who you think will win and why

tim hortons will win because they have always been the best and always will be.

blog 11

#11 bowling for columbine
the most memorable scene in the film and why

The most memorable part would porbably be scenes of kids of the school right after it happened, because you could see how horrific the event actually was just through the looks on their faces

#10 the school webcam story/lawsuit
the truman show comes to life...or does it?what do you take from this story?

This is creepy I'm never using a webcam again.

#9 The great apology
a Tiger says sorry...well...did you buy it?/was he sincere?where do you stand on the affair of the century?/what does it teach us as students of the media explain

I would wait and see if he does change his life around before I take him seriously. I'm not saying I don't believe him I just think that after 19 affairs theres a good chance for a relapse.
